Hello Everyone, I have an L3430 Kubota with an LA723 FEL. My question/problem is the loader bucket kicks out of the float mode when I'm trying to smooth out my driveway. Is there an adjustment to increase the float tension on the control lever to keep it from jumping out of float without me having to hold it in the float position. Thanks.

Thanks D2Cat, I will try to figure out what and where is the float spool. It has been a great little tractor. This is the first problem I have had with it.'

Sorry to butt in, but do most loaders allow you to let go of the handle when in float and the loader stays in float? I’d love to have that on my B.

Thanks to KMAN and others for info on the float problems. I ended up ordering kit YW232-91102 from www.messicks.com. The detent ring (I guess that is what it's called) on part E of B00503 Control Valve (Component Parts)
https://www.messicks.com/ku/85606?sectionId=221385&diagramId=379458
was etched in 4 places where the ball bearings rode over the detent ring. Also one of the ball bearings in part F was displaced in farther than the other 3. I swapped the end caps left to right but no real help. Getting the kit and replacing the end cap Part F and the Part E seemed to have resolved my problem. As a side note I did loosen Part E so the etches where the bearing rode over the ring and the ring cap from the right side seemed to work but I did not like leaving this part loose. Also I could not find a skinny washer to fit at the end of part E when tightened so the bearings would ride over a different place on the detent ring. Thanks for the insight from the many threads I read on this issue.
