Mike,
That’s great news regarding another Grand L3240 project coming your way. I’m extremely pleased with the drive performance and the PTO power is exceptionally impressive, even at 8700ft elevation. I haven’t had a chance to turn up the injection pump yet, but in a few weeks I’ll give the Orange Dragons injection pump an extra turn out some more attitude. If you have any questions feel free to reach out
Love the new Utube video. That will help a lot of owners get more of what we all want, Power under our seat. Thanks Again Mike.

I would like to express a big thank you to @5280GearHead for taking the leap of faith and purchasing the S2T Performance Turbo Kit. We also thank him for making the modifications required for fitment, supplying pictures and of course, his feedback on the Turbo Kit and the performance improvements.

We’re extremely fortunate that we have another L3240 being delivered to us for a Turbo system very soon. Therefore, we will indeed have a Bolt-on Turbo Kit for the Grand L40 series L3240 tractor. And, that owner has agreed to a PTO dyno session so we’ll also have power numbers for this model.

We’re really excited about this new Turbo kit!

Mike
Given that your L2501 with a 3-cylinder 100.5 cu.in. engine now has 44hp (gross or net?) and 35.0hp at the PTO, are you expecting the same performance numbers from the L3240 since it has the same engine? Is there anything different about the L3240 that would result in different numbers?

Toque numbers would be useful too, specifically lb-ft@rpm.

We’re expecting the same, or perhaps a bit more power from the L3240.

The L3240’s D1703 engine is spec’d to Tier 2 emissions (compared to Tier 4) regulations and the factory injection timing is more aggressive. One thing to consider, however, is that we have 5 Turbocharged L2501’s that have matched my 35HP PTO dyno numbers (to my knowledge, nobody has pushed further). And, that’s regardless of model year and/or injection pump modifications (shim removal). It’s just difficult to predict, which is why were thrilled the L3240 owner is willing to have his tractor tested.
