Hello all,

New to the forum, was reading quite a bit prior to going shopping for tractors - decided to make an account to jump into the action.

I have been looking for a tractor for awhile now and have settled on the l3560 limited edition as a good option for me and my needs. I was wondering about pricing. I recently was quoted $45000 at the dealer for an l3560 limited edition with LA805 loader and bucket, 3rd function on the front and one set of rear remotes, with an added 72" brush hog attachment. This includes taxes. I was wondering if this sounds about right?

I found a used one at a different used tractor dealer as well and found a nice looking one with about 400 hours, without rear remotes for about 26000 (taxes not included, so add maybe $1500), does still have the third function on front. Would have to buy the brush hog (so add about $3500).

Both of these are without cabs - located western PA. What are yalls thoughts and opinions? Used vs new. Is the warranty and the fact it is new, worth the additional price increase?

The cheap and easy Kubota financing , the presence of a warranty and often free delivery sells a lot of new tractors. I personally bought new when I could not find a fairly priced used unit a few years ago. What you are describing represents substantial savings. 400 hours is very little on a properly maintained Kubota. I would opt for the used if I were presented with the two options. I also would bargain hard. Tractor sales are in the toilet at the moment (according to Tractor Mike on YouTube). Its a buyers market. Also maintain flexibility with regards to Kubota model options. As you may already know often the Limited Edition despite it sounding fancy is actually the lesser equipped version of that unit. Also when you buy from an individual there is no sales tax on the transaction. Make sure you are getting the hydrostatic transmission. Good luck. You will come to love your Kubota as I do mine.

Thanks for the input. I ended up purchasing the used tractor for $25,000. It was pretty clean. There were 2 small plugs in one of the rear tires which had decent but not great tread. Probably will need new tires eventually. Also has dented up telescoping lower link lever plates but still seemed to be functional. The loader seemed decently greased and hydraulic and oil filters were newer. Cant wait to get it delivered and start using it

nice, a 'new' toy !!!!!

BTW , check dealer price for 'tire and rim' instead of 'tire' only !
For my BX23S rears were $500, tire only.... $340 for tire on rim with valve stem and 22#s air.
Yes... $160 CHEAPER.... I give up trying to do Kubota economics.......

Take your time while learning to use it. On hills make sure the 4wd is engaged especially when going downhill as it greatly increases your stopping power. I too am in SW Pa and have had several scary moments when I failed to take this precaution. Wear the seatbelt and keep the ROPs up as many are seriously injured on tractors. You did very well on the purchase. Good luck and congratulations!

I bought a new L3560 LE and I am really glad I did, you can’t beat a cab with heat and a/c. Get the radio, its just too good.

Provided the used unit was well kept and maintained, you should be in good hands

We've been very pleased with ours.

But with all that for 45k out the door.......I'd a bought 2. Stuff must be cheaper up that way lol.
