Hi all. I hope your kubotas are running fine.

My l3250 is doing alright however I was under it today and noticed a bolt was loose. After I got a protective pice of sheet metal off of it I found something that I didn't recognize. Can anyone educate me on what is going on here? I tightened the bolt that I am pointing to.

X2 on travel stop, perhaps missing a rubber bumper? I didn't see either on the parts diagram though.

Well that would be where the clutch neutral safety switch is supposed to be attached.
Let me guess it starts in gear.

If you're going to keep it without the safety switch the bracket serves no purpose.

To be safe for others, at least, buy the switch, wire it up, and adjust the bracket as needed. Sure beats running over someone, or through a wall!

What they are trying to say is that you are missing a plunger type switch that screws into the hole in the top (stationary) bracket and the clutch pedal will activate the switch unless it is pushed down.
