Hello everyone, I’m new to this forum and tractors in general and was wondering if I could get a little help. My L2502 was bought brand new in February of this year and currently has just under 50 hours on it. About two months ago I took it back to the dealer for a warranty repair (left side hub seal was leaking and replaced), but since having repair completed, I noticed that while slowly raising the 3 point with the box blade on, it bounces the entire tractor. If I take off the box blade, the 3 point raises smoothly. The person who sold me the tractor said it’s normal but the owner says that it’s excessive. They picked up the tractor about a week ago and dropped it back off today, but it’s exactly the same. They said a linkage was out of adjustment but obviously that didn’t help any. I have only been able to find write-ups on what I’m experiencing on older L series Kubotas and nothing on the newer models. Sorry or the long post but just looking to see if this is normal and something Kubota has yet to address since the early 2000’s issues or should it be smooth when raising the 3 point at a slow steady pace.

it is not normal for the implement to bounce. How much does that box blade weigh?
Lets also review operation of the 3pt. Your tractor has position control. You dont need to inch the lever up. Simply pull it up quickly and the 3pt will come to the top at its own speed. The slower the engine speed the slower the lift speed. If you pull the lever to a midpoint the implement will raise as before but stop before it gets to the top.

Can't say I have experienced that with the 2501. If I move the lever too slowly DOWN there is some bounce. Never up.
It wasn’t until I got it back from the dealer replacing the hub seal that it started doing it. Doesn’t matter the RPMs, or the lift/drop speed that’s adjusted under the seat. I’d understand the jerkiness if I just kept inching it up and stopping it in a continuous matter but I’m trying to move the 3 point lever in one fluid motion and it causes the whole backend to bounce.
