L185 oil sending unit

What's the easy way to take put old oil sending unit. Seems 26 mm socket fits. But the starter unit is bit to much in the way..

Not even 100% sure could remove it after 40 yrs.

Yea just find a socket that fits it.
They normally come right out.

Well 26 mm deep won't work starter in the way. Time to order normal 26mm
Odd mm size most places to shelf stock.
