It sounds like a positve power wire to key switch to starter problem. Make sure there is 12 volts to the switch and that there is 12 volts at the crank position when you turn the key to crank.

Since the starter will crank you eliminated that as a problem. See if you are getting 12 volts to the end of the small wire on the starter solenoid when key is in crank position. Probably not working properly.

I think the zero turn mowers have a ton of safety switches on them but I don’t know exactly where they are. Probably seat, control arms, brake…other stuff. I think you should try to find them and see if they are working properly and passing the power through to the next component (starter, relay, computer…)

You need the WSM (aka service manual) so you have the wiring diagram for it.
It will also have information on how to troubleshoot it.

This the best I can do on the WSM

You more than likely have an issue with the starter relay or switches, fuses, or controls that control it.
Unlike a tractor the starter relay on your unit not only controls the ability for the starter to be engaged but it controls the spark output from the magneto.
And note the starter relay doesn't actually engage the starter, it just make it possible for it to happen.

brake switch is the usual issue of a no-crank complaint. Test it, or just replace it. May be an updated part number now.
