2-3% doesn't sound like a lot but on a $30K purchase it will be $600-900. Not to sneeze at in my book. Our son is planning a tractor purchase so I'm going to see that he gets locked in before the increase. This link showed up on my Google News feed this morning.

Kubota to raise US prices as steel tariffs squeeze margins.

In Canada the increase is 4%. That said, each dealer can set their own prices and terms. Don't rush your decision because of the increase, a dealer sees you coming with $30K in your hand will find a way to make it work, especially if they have inventory in stock.

Does this mean that my '87 Kubota B9200 is worth a lot of money now?
It's worth more than the used-market appraisers and trade-in books reveal. (Not only because of higher steel/labor/etc. rates ...but also because of it's earlier/simpler emissions status.)
