Been wanting a box blade for years. I finally broke down and bought the Land Shark 54" From everything attachments. Now I just have to wait 3 months for them to build it. Last year I built a land plane, but the materials were too light and it just didn't work like I expected. I want to level out my lawns - intend to spread some piles of loam and then level it out. Then let the weeds to grow so I will have my 'estate'

Didn't buy it for the lawn but, does a good job shearing off mole hills and runs.

Gives neighbors "spring fever", they fill their poly rollers and turf tired mowers ad get stuck in the first wet spot they find.

I needed one of those for Mum's place after the concrete truck went through. She claimed it would compact the lawn, but she's still got ruts 3 months after.

Does it compact your soil to any noticeable extent?

It's 6 foot wide and is ok or the spring thaw. For real compaction, find a used roller, rusted out is ok, fill it with concrete. Weighs around 1 ton. Add automotive style coupler (scrap 2x4 spacer block) and tow it with a trailer mover.

Weighs about the same as the Hoelscher rolling box scraper
