So, I bought a new loader valve for my l185f over the winter. I finally put it on. Unfortunately it does not work properly. It has a float option. It's a dukes 1225bk ,it was supposed to be the right one for my tractor.
The loader lever locks on the up position and on the down position. The curl let's the bucket drop (I can pull the bucket down) . I've had it for 4 months so now it's mine damn it . I put ole leaky back on and everything works as it should. Guess that's what I get for waiting.

Also I still can't upload , been a long time since I could.

Lets start with some basic details.

How many hydraulic lines connected to your old valve..... 6 or 7?

Does your 3 pt hitch work properly?

I can find your Dukes 1225 valve on the QCC web site but the letter that you provided in the model number (B) seems wrong. Please double check this.

Who advised you this was the valve you needed?

It is rated at 20 gpm which is far bigger than you have the pump for and a smaller valve would be a better match for your tractor.

Does your tractor have a separate pump for the loader?

The letter k: K Spring centered, detent in and out sounds like what you are experiencing but not what you would have wanted.
