Recently bought a b2150d. Gonna change the transmission fluid. It’s a geared transmission. Do I have to use kubota’s stuff or can I use another kind?
Kubotas price is like 3 times as much just like everything you buy thereWhat does the manual say? Does it have a loader or other hydraulics driven by the same oil as the trans?
Some other folks may know your model better. I would just stick to the UDT if it's called for.
It is, but use the wrong oil and you will find out that it costs 3 times as much to fix it too.Kubotas price is like 3 times as much just like everything you buy there

This seems to be the hot topic for the week. For that tractor there are plenty of perfectly fine alternatives to Kubota UDT. Just steer clear of all the 303 "yellow bucket" crap.Recently bought a b2150d. Gonna change the transmission fluid. It’s a geared transmission. No - you can use any good qualiy universal tractor transmission oil (UTTO/UTF/THF)I bought a manual and it says I can use tractor hydraulic fluid. Myractor Kubota is not “hst.” It’s gear driven. So any high grade hydraulic fanyluid.
