That’s at my son’s place in Louisiana. We only got a few inches in New Mexico. But I agree, that photo is a keeper.dang you got MORE snow than me here in southern Ontario
GREAT picture !!! print it, put date on back
Some of those people might have been EMTs, doctors, nurses, firefighters, and a lot of other people who don't have the luxury of staying home when the weather turns bad. I remember a number of days when I was called in on my day off to man an additional ambulance. I would have loved to stay home, but that is what you sign on for when you took the job.Reminds me of the trip to Costco on Sunday. It was snowing and a bit slippery. Quite a few drivers had their flashers going and they kept their speed between 15 and 20 MPH.
PSA: if you need flashers and have to keep your speed under 30MPH --STAY HOME!
Filet for supper.......................Now the question is, "Why didn't you stay home instead of going to Costco?" As you said, "It was snowing and a bit slippery." What did you need that couldn't wait until the roads were cleared and the snow stopped falling?
Yep. No crowds. It was worth the trip just to experience that. For a while now the crowds looked like it was a week before Christmas every time we went there. We called ahead to make sure they'd be open. I don't need to go fast, but don't care to get behind road warriors going 15MPH with flashers a-flashing.Probably no crowds at Costco providing they WERE open ,so really GREAT time to go there !!
As long as it's daylight, no big deal a few flakes and a bit slippery.
Used to drive my '67 Mustang in that weather, yawn, jes another day, no big deal.....
Nowadays seems most have 4WD 4 door pickup with lots of 'computer help' to drive YET they do NOT know HOW to drive...they are the problem.
