I think what @North Idaho Wolfman is calling a valve is some sort of diverter ball valve and the far side may be the handle end, with the nut and “spacers” that are in the forefront are on the stem of the valve. So the thick block can act as the diverter block for power take off and power return on the front half of the block and also as the original cover plate in the rear half of the block. I would really like to see a drawing of that part. It looks pretty professionally made with the “top” stamped into it. I think someone like @TheOldHokie came up with that and it is currently set up for something like a log splitter where you would not be needing to use the three point hitch. But in this case the power beyond hose from the FEL could be added to the port that is currently plugged and then both the FEL and the 3PH would operate.

It looks OEM to me.

BTW a 3pt log splitter still needs the 3pt to be operational.

Could be it does what he needs but someone would need to take the thing off and analyse the operation.
