well, went to snag some round PT fence posts. I've never seen such garbage in my life. Looked at the landscape timbers too...they looked like a banana.

Wound up getting PT 4x4's. That was quite a fiasco in itself. Home depot dude went to get me a bundle of pt 2x4-12's and got the wrong stack (he got 2x8-12's instead). While he was buzzing them outside for me to pick up (again, wrong material) he proceeded to remove the Home Depot garage door!. He tore out the top of the door frame and facia of the building all while another HD "associate" was guiding him.

I'm glad that no one was injured. Holy Shyte.

I really don't miss doing home renovations. You know, when you spend an hour and a half picking thru a pile of lumber to find 2 dozen boards that are somewhat straight.

I hope they provided wood that was at least treated for ground contact. I often see PT lumber that is not treated well enough for ground contact much less buried.

These companies can ship you various grades of posts.
