When my kids were approaching their driving age, I convinced them that in order to learn to drive a car, they had to learn to first drive the lawn tractor and mow. My daughter got out of it immediately, after bitching and moaning, by crashing the tractor into the house right off the bat and bending the hell out of the hood. When it was my sons turn, he did not complain, he mowed every time it was requested. However, anything he could run over was fair game.
After they became adults, my daughter is not a very good driver and has had several car crashes. My son runs his cars, regardless of what sounds they make, until they need major repairs.

So, you are saying you didn't teach either of them well. Got it.

Reminds me of a conversation Wifey and I had a while back. The boyfriend was older, overweight and rich. The girlfriend was a beauty. Wifey said "You know she's only after one thing". To which I replied "Yep, and he is too. Looks like a win-win".
