Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next".

They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals. Turns out, that predicting the next one in line is a grave mistake.

After being married for 40 years, I took a careful look at my wife one day and said, “Forty years ago we had a cheap apartment, a junk car, slept on a sofa bed, and watched a 10-inch black and white TV, but I got to sleep with a hot 23-year-old girl every night.

Now, I have a $5,000,000 home, a $120,000 car, a king-sized bed, and a 140-inch projection TV home theater with an elaborate sound system, but I'm sleeping with a 63-year-old woman. It seems to me that you're not holding up your side of things.”

My wife is a very reasonable woman. She told me to go out and find a hot 23-year-old girl and she would make sure that I would once again be living in a cheap apartment, driving a junk car, sleeping on a sofa bed, and watching a 10-inch black and white TV.

Aren't older women great? They really know how to solve an old guy's problems.

A man left for work one Friday afternoon. Instead of going home, he stayed out the entire weekend hunting with his buddies and spending his entire paycheck. When he finally wet home on Sunday night, he was confronted by a very angry wife. After 2 hours she finally stopped nagging and said, "How would you like it if you didn't see me for 2-3 days?" He replied, "That would be fine with me." Monday went by and he didn't see her. Tuesday and Wednesday passed with the same results. Thursday, the swelling went down just enough for him to see her a little out of the corner of his left eye.

Amusing, but also BS. I wore a mask while alone in a car for a damned good reason - I had Covid and was in a rental car. I also drove the 6hr I had to with the windows down to leave as little Covid as possible in the vehicle for the next person who had to drive it. When you come down with Covid while away, your options are somewhat limited so I had to do the drive and the Covid was pretty mild for me.

Amusing, but also BS. I wore a mask while alone in a car for a damned good reason - I had Covid and was in a rental car. I also drove the 6hr I had to with the windows down to leave as little Covid as possible in the vehicle for the next person who had to drive it. When you come down with Covid while away, your options are somewhat limited so I had to do the drive and the Covid was pretty mild for me.

I came down with a severe stomach bug and had one of the company trucks here at the house.

My wife simply fogged the cab of the truck with half a can of lysol after she left the keys in the cup holder.

This way my coworker could have his wife drop him off so they could have the work truck the next day and he didn't risk getting sick.

He did have to leave the doors open on the truck and let it air out the lysol fumes before attempting to drive

The car rental companies had cleaning policies in place to protect their employees.

One of those policies was a fogger for inside of vehicles to fog the interior with disinfectant.

Your precautions though thoughtful, were unnecessary.
