Took 3.5'' hole saw, drilled large hole in top of fender:eek: along with a 1'' hole along side it. Than cut between the holes, smooth out with a file, Than poped/snaped the new factory cup holder in place. Looks like it belongs there;) Ya,,, It looks factory... Now I have one on each side..

The factory cup holder has a oblong shape, And is recessed down into the fender, (my fender is flat on top) it's made for the cup handle to also fit down in the holder. By drilling the 3.5'' hole than about 2'' out, I drilled another 1''hole, and making a line between the two, and than cutting from one hole to the other made it a nice fit to snap the orig cup holder in place. Water in one,,,,, coffee in the other!
Life is good!!! :D

Water?? Whats that? For taking a bath maybe..actually i have never operated my tractor under the influence of anything other than coffee. Would like to see a photo or two as well. Otherwise you get no praise for your fine workmanship.

I never drink water because of the disgusting things that fish do in it.

Don't think too hard about it but all water is recycled sewer water - just depends on how recently it was sewer water.

Wouldn't one of those gimbal cup holders (like in a boat) do a better job of keeping the carbonated beverages from sloshing around too much? Auntie's new B2440 has one of those cup holders with a cutout for a handle but I don't think it would be useful if the tractor is running, let alone moving.

My tractor came with one, & it worked great for drinks, but the PO mounted it where I banged my knee on it often, so I took it off. In fact, the PO now has it on his Yanmar.
