I'm following this guide: http://www.orangetractortalks.com/2008/09/kubota-servicing-101-part-3-cooling-system/

And I can't for the life of me find the coolant reservoir... There is a hose that goes from near the top of the radiator cap to atmosphere but no container for coolant.

In the picture in the article it looks like it should be in a pretty obvious place (right above the engine) but I can't see one there

Does my tractor (l2000) not have one?

I doubt it. My L1500DT doesn't have one, and it's in the same series as yours.

No it doesn't have one, but you can add one if you so desire, but due to the system design it might have limited function. ;)

You can put one in, but IT will NEVER suck it back up !!! You need to change the cap for that to work, now if you just want to collect the coolant, then by all means. You'll find however that it will NOT spit out coolant once it gets to a certain level in the radiator. ;):) UNLESS you have a pressure problem like a head gasket, cracked head etc......and if that is the problem, the overflow cup will be the least of your worries!:D:)
