BX23S curiousity

There's a 2021 BX23s close to me for sale. Super clean with extras but it looked 'odd'. seems the BH levers point away from set, yet mine ( just had 6th birthday...) point towards the seat.
Anyone know why this is ?

I have heard of them being spun around 180 degrees.
