BX2360 Tachometer question

Hi,

I am new to Kubota tractors and this forum. I just recently purchases a Kubota BX2360. I was looking at the operators manual which says that the small lcd display that shows the hours will display the rpms after starting up. Mine shows the tach for a few seconds when I turn the switch on then displays the hours. It never shows the rpms when operating just hours. Did I miss something?

Any help for this newbie would be appreciated.

New update on the hour meter/tachometer problem. Got some time to do some mowing with the tractor this weekend. Found out that the hour meter is not registering usage. It displays the hours but they don't change when running.

Assuming that the 'real' tach does work, then I suspect the 'panel' computer is defective.
Need to see the wiring diagram of your machine but on my BX23S a signal comes from the alternator so if the tach works, the hours should update but I've never seen the source code to see 'how-it-works'.
Your panel is different but similar to mine, I'd think.
