Your right about being cunning. Have about 200 lbs in my ballast box that helps tremendously. Have had to break up the objects in order to lift curtain things. Takes longer but it works. What got me into the upgrade mode was lifting a 12 foot pallet. Heavy sob. Was lifting one and needed to go all the way up the 1880 can go, but it stopped around 8 inches lower than max lift due to the weight. Changed the way I wanted to use it so it worked out. Was building a firewood bin. Been wanting a 3 point pallet forks so will start looking for an attachment to use my current forks.

I converted my 3ph forks to attach to my loader. Going the other way - converting loader forks to 3ph - should be easier.

There are two different frame size Bs. Kubota made it a bit easier to tell know that they replaced the larger frame Bs with the LX. Besides lift weight, you also get more lift height with the larger B or LX.

Go watch the videos on YouTube that Messicks did on comparing BX, B, LX, L etc. if you haven't.

Was looking online at 3 point forks. Only see a complete set of forks, which I don't want. Want to use my existing forks. Guessing I will need a quick attach plate like I have for the loader. Will look around more.

I have a set of these 3 point forks: https://www.agrisupply.com/pallet-forks/p/72511/ that I use on my BX2370 and they work great. They weigh just over 100 lbs so they don't detract much from the 3 point lift capacity.

Two ways to go. You can get an adapter to basically put an SSQA on the 3ph. I think that's overly complex.

Or you can just work out places to put two pins for the lift arms, and a place for the top link. The geometry of 3ph equipment isn't hard, and a couple of holes with bolt on pins, plus 2 holes for the top link near the top is a way easier thing to make. You may need to do a little welding.

Will look at mine to see if its an option.

Thats what I want. Dam thats expensive. Will check for cheaper ones
That’s what I thought too….i felt bad even posting the link. I bought when I had a BX and still have it, rarely use it. It works really well but seems like you need an extra hand to install it…it’s manageable but pretty awkward for sure. It does what it is supposed to though.

I don’t really remember what they cost 10+ yrs ago but i know it wasn’t anywhere near what was in the link. The one I have must have a been an economy model…it’s not dipped in gold like the new ones 😉.
