BX Driveshaft play normal and wont go in gear now?

You need to take it apart and see what gears have gone, gears are not that expensive.

Glad to hear they aren’t too expensive. I’ve pulled vehicle MTX apart and rebuilt them before.

just a little buried right now. I will give it a day and try and decide the route I want.

Your issue very likely is not in the HST, it's behind the HST, in the range gear setup.

Looking at the expanded diagrams on the Kubota site it looks like I would pull the rear end/transmission and then remove the HST unit. From there I can remove the cover and get to the reag gears shown in the expanded view.
