Please clarify the switch- I am slow to understand what “new” switch is installed.

I read that you had a new switch and still had a problem, I see a picture of a key switch but don’t know if it is the old original, old new or new new switch.

Please bring me back to understanding by stating how many switches you have used and the part numbers of the switches (if known), especially the one that is working.

Glad it was a reasonably easy fix for you!

Russell.

I had purchased a new key switch from on line (not kubota) see the one in the photo, i thought i had originally purchased it from my kubota dealer earlier in the year when i had the random no start issue (relay fixed that issue). When i called my local kubota dealer they said no record of a new switch from me, so I went ahead and purchaed a new key switch and now the glow plug light and glow plugs are working. Sorry for the long winded explanation.

nice you're 'up and running' ! sounds like after a few years, switching 30+ amps through the switch finally did it in and of course the GPs gave up along the way as well.....
kinda scary the GP circuit is NOT fused..... oh well....

Thank you for the clear explanation, now I know that the working switch is an OEM part and not the one in the picture.

It is fused by the main slow/blow fuse.
