They don't require Tier 4 on the little engines, or not yet they don't. These little Kubota's are pretty much bulletproof, break it in correctly & do the routine maintenance for a long life.

From what ive read the new scut are teir4 and theirs been some problems. They have a dpf on them and use def.

I know I am late responding but .... I have 6 Kubotas (all were bought new) which include BX2670 with FEL MMM (wife's) and a BX25D. The tractors are small but have a big heart. They will do almost anything you want if you have time. Our oldest Kubota is a 1983 G3200 with tons of hours on it ..... and we still use it mostly just for kicks. I have never had a service call on any Kubota just do good service.
