ill check the colours if they are the same. if thats the case it will be a great help to check if both solenoids get a signal or not.
and to check the right solenoids :p

Also can anyone tell me the functions of my control board?
theres 6 switches/knobs and i know the function of 1(up down)

Is that the solenoid that controls up AND down? 3 wires going in.

No, a low oil level won't keep it from lowering.

Have you turned the fall adjustment knob under the set, that effects drop speed, and you can even lock it in the up position.

FYI: You're at 5 posts now, so photo posting will work for you.

Left is high drop speed?
right lower drop speed?

id hate to cut wires and have it be that i turned it the wrong way

hello,

I had a aste 17 a year ago,
Do you have a solenoid as shown in the picture?
The small knob in the middle should move if you try the different position of the control board.
On mine it helped to push the knob in by hand to get it going again...

Good luck

Hello everyone a few weeks ago i bought a Kubota Bulltra B1-15 for some work around the house.
Last week ive started encountering problems with hydraulic lift(3point?)
Now i've checked the oil and it seems to be very low(not even on the dipstick).
Can anyone tell me what type of oil i have to use for this?
and whats the best place to fill it up?
On the rear of the tractor just above the PTO shaft i found a small metalcap covering a rubberplug. is this the normal place to fill it?
I hope that someone can help me out so i can start using it again.

P.S. My english wont always be the best since its not my first language.
Hi there, did you manage to solve this problem? I have a B-40 with a similar solenoid set-up and same problem.
