Sons 08 tractor has the bucket stuck in the down position . Has been sitting for the winter at least . I will be going out tomorrow to take a look at it for him . Any suggestions on what to look for or check ? Don`t know the model but can get it . I think he said 26-27 HP . Thanks , Larry

Sorry guys , I joined this forum 8-9 years ago when my son ( a different son ) bought a used Kubota and had a few issues I was helping him on . I just realized that this tractor is a Mahindra 2816 and not a Kubota , but I appreciate your suggestions on things to start looking at .

Try these few things:
Put the three point lever in the down position and then try the FEL.
Disconnect and reconnect the hoses from the tractor to the FEL.
See if the bucket will curl, if so swap the hose connection for curl to the up/down connections (mark everything with numbers or colors before you move anything around so you can get it back to the same configuration)
See if the three point lift will pick up any weight. If not, then disconnect the hose to the power in port of the FEL and put the end into a clean bucket. Start tractor and see if fluid is being pumped into the FEL valve.

Report back what you find out for more assistance or how you got it operational.
