Hi folks
I need to rebuild my boom cylinder an I need to find an E or L stamped on the cylinder to get the right rebuild kit. Dose anybody know where it would be stamped on the cylinder barrel because I’m not seeing it.

Are we talking backhoe, loader, or something else? Type of equipment and model number please.

Take your parts or old seals to a hydraulic shop and they can measure them and give you the correct seals for half the price

Ok missecks called kubota an this is what they had to say.

I spoke to Kubota parts technical. They confirmed the seal kits are the same regardless of which cylinder manufacture you have. Part# 70030-01305 will work.
Good information so everybody knows

Here's my answer- the kit likely contains parts for both type cylinders and you only use the bits you need.

Bottom line is you can ID your cylinder but there is only one order number regardless of L and E markings.
