Hello Friends,

I am learning alot about my 1978 B7100DT, gear driven not hydraulic. Anyone know what belly mowers will fit?

I believe the K48 mower will work but how about a 60" belly mower?

I remember looking up which implements would fit using KUBOTA's website but I can't find that resource anymore. Their website has changed.

Respectfully,

Mike

RC60-71B and RC54-71B. I suspect the "71B" is for B7100. The RC is rotary cutter and the 60 or 54 is the width of cut in inches.

I have one (the 54"), I don't use it. I think it would be fine for a large flat area but there's not enough clearance between tractor and mower to allow the deck to handle hills and swales.

Dear Torch,

Thank you for the information and explanation of the mower deck. Unfortunately my Kubota compact tractor isn't a hydraulic model (HST) and doesn't have a mid mount PTO. The RC60-71B is designed for a HST model, the mower's drive shaft faces to the rear. The one I need will have to face forward and is powered by gear case attached to the front of the engine's crank shaft. Something like the mower deck in the attached photo which is for a different tractor.

Respectfully,

Mike

Oops, sorry, I missed the non-hst bit. My bad.

That mower in your pic looks like it might provide a bit more clearance than the -71B models.

Without a mid PTO, you will likely need a three point mounted mower.

Don't know about Kubota but, in the era, some manufacturers e.g., Iseki, etc., offered MMMs for SCUTS driven by belts from the engine crankshaft.

That said, finding one to fit your tractor, even if ever offered, would be a project.

SDT, I think the mower you have a picture of was the same one on a B8200.

I have one out back. Kinda rough looking, but very few hours on it. It's sat in a shed much longer than it was ever on a tractor. But the shed got tore down, so it sets outside.

If it interest you send me a PM.
