How do i change the speed of the PTO? is that on the same lever that turns the PTO on? or is there another lever that i am missing? suggestions?

There are 3 positions on the PTO selector. The center position is neutral. Pulling back will place it in the 540rpm position. Forward from neutral puts the PTO in the 748rpm position. You will want the 540 position for most attachments you will be using.
I'm not sure of the high speed rpm numbers since mine is worn a bit.

mine has a little bracket on it that prevents it from going forward.
So does my B7200, actually the bracket on mine is welded in place. I don't know of any american implements that use anything other than 540RPM's so I'll leave it in place.

I often use the 786 rpm on my B7100. It really helps my snow blower work better. I use it on my tiller also.
