Thanks Hokie (I am also a Hokie). This one is sort of a gift, so selling it may be a little awkward, but your points are well taken. Thanks.Finding those for a 30+ year old tractor may be almost as hard as a needle in the proverbial haystack.
There may be aftermarket items - but I will tell you this, it would be best to find a tractor with what you want already on it, and then sell this one - you will be money ahead and frustration behind!
I'm saying this somewhat tongue in cheek but tractorhouse.com has a B8200 with 618 hours, FEL and cab at auction. Unfortunately, it's in Quebec and you're in VA, but you could buy the one in PQ, ship it strip it and then resell it locally. Since the one you have is a gift, it might be plausible. It looks like I will be getting a nicely kept early 1980s B8200. I was wondering what my options for backhoes and loaders might be? Are there aftermarket options? does the B8200 require Kubota backhoe and loader?
I have a b8200 we just purchased, and i purchased and installed a la350a loader on it, no modifications necessary. Was hard to find a loader though .It looks like I will be getting a nicely kept early 1980s B8200. I was wondering what my options for backhoes and loaders might be?
