hi ya'll
grass samurai a newbie needs advise ?
thinking of buying a used b 7510 ( turf special ) from local kubota dealer monday

its a 2005 or 2006 i think
it has 350 hours ...dealer just installed A brand new la 302 loader n 48 bucket ...it has a nice 60" mid mount mower and there offering a new land pride 48 orange shear bolt style rotary cutter aka bush hog as a package deal $12.900 otd w kubota financing 2.9% 48 months 10% down

I have a zg227z 54" for my landscaping and mowing business took it on a trade & I love it put abt 500 hrs a year on it its unbelievable capability like 6 foot weeds to 5 ft briars and then going to a 500k home and mowing the yard ...lol...btw her name is miracle!

deal aside this is a great dealer ..

I love this dealer these folks are my Stihl Dealer for my hand tools and repairs & this dealer really treats me like a millionaire!!!...

I'm wanting to start offering bush hog work / loader work small tractor work in general things like brush piles etc a few days a week at $75 hr or per acre for hogging I'm located in upstate SC
as to bush hog work I cant even get any one to bushog for me & my customers I tried to hire out jobs on Craigslist for free id arrange the jobs they could go do them id charge nothing make nothing they'd make $150 to $200!!!! per hour or per acre & no one wants to bush hog at $150 an hour around here!!! ...lol..

so I'm thinking this 12,900 is a fair price this b7510 ts is near mint hood has scratches on the hood and the turf tires are only fair tread been driven on pavement a good bit i think ...other wise it looks new...
appears was used only for mowing and garage kept

ideally id wait for like a bigger b say a 29hp or 30hp so i could run a 5 ft hog and a 72 mid mount mower & 300 lbs more loader lift but that's looking like abt $18,5k used w loader and 8 hr drive on tractor house there 18k to 20k under 500 hrs ?

any advise would be well appreciated
God Bless
samurai out...

Ive run my 4' hog for hours in golden rod. No issues. LA 352 loader has been great. I replaced the bucket hoses as they were all dry and cracked from being sun soaked. I had Kubota run my serial, original sold date 7-12-2004. I paid 10,500 private and I already had hog.

I hate the mmm. I have a back thats going out and now playing goalie in ice hockey has ruined one hip. When I upsize, Ill be running a rear finish mower. I made a swivel dolly to aid in sliding deck under, and it mows great, but Im falling apart at 35.... Call me a wimp, my 88 yr old neighbor does...lol

You didn't say anything about a warranty if you bought from a dealer? That's worth something vs a private transaction.
I bought b7510 private with a FEL, under 260 hours for sub 10k. I guess it all depends on the seller and location.
MMM are for the birds or chiropractor job Security. Had one on my BX and hated installing and removing it.
Funny how so many people don't want to work these days, think social benefits are too rich, just my 2 cents on bush hog jobs.

Bought it ... wow is it nice ... thanks for the replies ... As a back up for my z turn mid mount is the only way to go for me most of my customers yards have to many obstacles to run a rear mount finish mower w/ out crashing into something & i aint planing to remove mid deck much as I expect it to be a huge pain on & off
Now what to buy for upgrades 1st im leaning toward a ratchet rake or a bx expanded tooh bar also need to weld up some hooks on the bucket... I want Used boom pole ,tiller ,scrape blade ,post hole digger ...oh my wow are there lots of choices!

You bought it, and DIDN'T POST PHOTOS? Don't you know the unwritten rule- this post is worthless without pictures!

Kidding, of course, but we'd love to see it.

Great looking machine. Keep it well serviced and it should serve you well for a long time.
