I would assume that a B7500 4x4 hydro should have a shut down solenoid to shut it off with the key, worked on one this weekend for my uncle and had to use the manual pull linkage to shut it off. Was just curious if it should shut down electrically or not, didn't take the time to look and see if it has a shut down solenoid.

The B7500 was one of the last models made before all of the EPA mandated emissions crap was forced on small diesels. Those of us who have them are very happy about that because we don't have all of the problems with fuel shutoff solenoids, DPF regen issues, etc., etc.

No that's no true. Fuel shut off solenoids have nothing what soever to do with emissions. Emission control devices are a relatively new add-on and there was several B-series made after the B7500 before the emissions was added.
