I bought a Kubota B 1750 2wd at an auction recently, at a local John Deere dealer. I asked them to service it while it was there. They called and said the oil dip stick was broken off and down in the engine. They want $1500 to break it down and see what damage was done. It seems to run good but I hate to put that much more into it. It has 950 hrs or so on the 3 cyl. diesel 20 hp engine. Is it hard to split one of these? What would cause the dip stick to break?
Thanks,
