Hi folks,

The thumb screw part vibrated lose when I didn't have it tight one day. At least a washer and the bottom clamp piece are gone.

I can't seem to fine them on Messicks/Kubota parts diagrams.
Kubota - https://shop.kubotausa.com/oemparts/a/kub/609195f287a86614f81b7f67/f14000-position-control-lever

I did find a few posts here about switching that thumb screw to a quickadjust from McMaster, here is the image they used (I think this was an older L) - https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/a3ue....JPG?rlkey=b24jy6d5xu8922jrlo5voqceu&e=1&dl=0
I need part 120 on that one, but transposed to an LX3310 part number.

Can someone point me in the right path?

Thanks!

Is there a 3rd piece? The drop box link about looks like that stopper is on top, vs a keyed bottom piece.

Your LX is different from that L picture you dropboxxed. There is a flat washer on top. You could booger the thread on the knob after you assemble it to keep from losing that part again.

thank you! I have no idea why that's not shown on the Kubota parts diagram for an LX3310.

Actually, that diagram I posted is for the LX3310. It's considered a part of the body, not the control valve . There are other instances, I'm convinced one part I was looking for once is not on any diagram.

I have one of those on my B2910 with position control, but I don’t think I’ve ever used it. Just curious but what to use it for?

Matter fact, next time I get down to the tractor shed, I’m gonna have to look and make sure it’s still there. 22 years since I bought that tractor…

Only time I use it is bush hogging. Before starting, stop on a flat area, set height of front of cutter a bit below rear of cutter, set the stop up against the 3 point control lever. After that, can raise cutter as needed and set it back down exactly at height it should be by dropping the 3 point lever to the stop. Now that I’ve done this quite a few times, I can set mine on about 2.25 on the scale for the 3 point lever and run it.

Maybe there’s some other practical use for being able to repetitively drop the 3 point to a set height. If tractor doesn’t have position control, not sure it would be useful for anything.
