I have a l2900dt 1997 model and am working on the hood.I took the loader off an la480 and tried my back lift and it will not operate now could someone tell what i need to do after removing the loader. I took the long hose that is left on the tractor and connected it to the other male plug but nothing but no hydralic lift for the fining mower on the back.I also tried it with all the hoses not hooked to anything won't lift ,it was fine till i set loader off.Thank for any help i need to mow tomarror.

Welcome Gunman, it sounds like your loader plumbs about the same as mine. I want to say it's the single line that hooks back to the tractor. Maybe for some reason it didn't get hooked up good and the ball wasn't open so the fluid could pass on to the 3pt. Try to rehook the line and see what happens. If your operates like mine the line has to be hooked back in for the 3pt to work.
Thanks for the reply ,i really needed some help, i wasn't sure the hose had to be hooked.I'm fixing to try now i found late last night a little valve on the control where the front loader attaches to the tractor needs to be turned for it to work .Thanks again!
I forgot about some tractors have a selector valve that goes to loader or 3pt. Maybe you will be ready to go now.
