All right folks.....I'm at a loss.
I bought a used (100ish hours) 2018 RTV-XG850 about 6 months ago. I parked it and about 30 mins later it wouldn't start, it just clicks.
After research I thought it was the neutral safety switch, purchased a new one and installed, no luck. So I ensured the battery was fully charged and tried to jump the starter, no luck. Removed the starter and the magnets were pulverized. Purchased a new starter, stupid expensive, installed it and still no luck.
All fuses are good. I refuse to take to the dealer so hoping someone smarter than me has another idea.
thanks in advance

The only way to know if a battery is fully charged is to have it load tested. My guess is that it's either the battery, corroded battery cables at both battery posts and ground, or a drop in voltage to prevent the starter from engaging.

First, clean the battery posts and ground cable. Then, if no start, get the battery load tested at an auto parts store or battery store. If it tests well, then you may need to install a starter relay that will deliver high enough voltage to engage the starter.

At least these would be the things I would pursue.

There was a bulletion for the started relay, PSB-2020-034-E-R1.
Take the serial number and ask your dealer if it has been upgraded.
