Hey folks. Been awhile since I've visited, glad to see this place is still around.

I have a 1994 L3300. It's old and tired but serving me well enough for now. This weekend, I had a mishap with a hidden T-post - it was deep in some brush and bramble, and even though I was leading with the loader, managed to puncture my radiator as I was backing out (I think my loaded pushed it down, then it tilted back up enough for the front axle to catch it and direct it straight through the fan shroud and through the rad).

So I started looking around online, and, the part number appears to be T0070-16000. $1100 or so is a lot to throw down though.

I was hoping to see if any alternate Kubota (or any, really) radiators would fit. I don't push this tractor hard at all (no plowing, no snow removal, maybe a couple hours of use per week in the summer, mostly mowing fields).

I found TC020-16000 which says it's for the L3400 (among other models). I however can't get any good photos of this radiator, so I can't begin to tell if it'll fit. Dimensional-wise it's just a little smaller and a little less fins per inch. The main inlet and outlet appear to be in the correct spots, but that's all I can tell. This one is appealing cos I can find several versions of it online at various shops, for $250-$300!

If that one wont work, does anyone know any others that may fit? If I have to pony up $1100, well, so be it, but, I'd really rather not right now if I can help it.

I did a bunch of reading and searching. I don't think TC020-16000 will work on my L3300 -- the OEM radiator has a ~9/16ths outlet on the bottom, next to the drain plus. I didn't follow it back to where it goes, but, I'm assuming plugging it wouldn't be a good idea. TC020-16000 doesn't have any fitting for that.

However, I did find this:

It's a bit taller, so, I'll likely have to do some work on the top mounts to make it fit. Width it matches though I'm not sure if the bottom mount positions will precisely line up. But it does have a 9/16ths lower port. So, I bought that. I think overall the cooling performance of this may be lower than OEM, but, for my use, I believe that may be alright.

Get this one:
Yeah, I called and left a message Friday to see if it was available. I have a hunch it's not though, as many other used parts are available to purchase right on the site, but this (and a handful of others) say to call.
If the one I got ends up not working out, and Tractor Parts ASAP gets back to me, I'll go down that route then.

Around here there are a few places that "re-core" radiators.

Although those places seems to be getting more scarce, it might be worth it to call around and see if a place like that could "rebuild" yours.

Aside: I just drove past the place that rebuilt my last 2 alternators and my wifes Volkswagon starter, and there is a "Sold" sign hanging.....Damn it!!!!

I loved that place. It reminded me of simpler times.

You would walk into a small, messy/greasy, waiting room that was filled with Marlboro smoke, with an old mangy-ass dog sitting on the floor and 2 vintage Snap-On "bikini posters" in the background, and a guy would poke his head around the door with a cigarette hanging from this lips and say, "just put it on cart with your name, and come back tomorrow ......with 50 bucks"

Probably gonna be a Starbucks now.....or "hopefully", another strip mall....😢

Neat idea on rebuild. I hadn't thought of that. Not sure if this would be eligible though

Well, the cheapie I got from Complete Tractor didn't fit. The listed dimensions were pretty far off from reality and it wouldn't fit, unless I wanted to give up the side panels and hood.
I ended up ordering a new one from Messicks. Overall after taxes and shipping they were the cheapest at $920. Oof.
