Adding rear remotes with third function on B2601

I'm also interested in the answer to this. Based on looking at my tractor, and the installation manual I posted above, I'm pretty sure there are only two hoses leading to the Land Pride 3rd function valve.

Adding rear remotes with third function on B2601

Makes sense. Thanks for all your help! I think I have a good understanding of it now. Last thing - is there any benefit to using the "hydraulic outlet" port that the land pride top/tilt kit uses other than a cleaner install?

What purpose does the additional outlet serve?

Adding rear remotes with third function on B2601

@matt-m: What's the second host leading to the valve block on the left side?

Adding rear remotes with third function on B2601

I can't get a picture right now, but it's the Land Pride 3rd function, dealer installed prior to delivery (https://cdn-assets.greatplainsmfg.com/ari/attach/lp/public/manuals/380-353m.pdf). It has a hose from the PB port, and returning to the T port. I understand what you're saying now...

Adding rear remotes with third function on B2601

Got it, so I would probably need to replace the hoses that go to my third function valve (or lengthen the existing ones with fittings and additional hoses).

Adding rear remotes with third function on B2601

I have a B2601 with a dealer-installed third function that's powered by the power beyond port. I'm interested in adding four rear remotes, and I'm curious what my options are. After doing a bunch of research, it looks like the kit I was looking at (by Summit Hydraulics) also pulls from the power...

Removing PTO driveline from old rotary cutter

After many trials and tribulations, I got the pin out! Now I need to try and get the yoke off the shaft. I believe there is a lock ring that I'll need to get off, but even then, I'm not sure how seized it is on there. At the end of all this, it may just be time for a new rotary cutter.

Removing PTO driveline from old rotary cutter

It seems that it's a smooth shaft, with a snap ring. I managed to punch it out a bit (see photo), but it wouldn't budge much more. I sprayed penetrating oil in and I'm going to let it sit for a bit. I think I will be able to get it off now, the trick will be securing a new one, although I...

Thanks, everyone. I'll give it another shot this afternoon and report back.

Removing PTO driveline from old rotary cutter

Hi, I inherited an old rotary cutter (about 30 years old at this point). It still works great, but the driveline needs to be replaced, and I can't figure out how to remove it from the gearbox shaft. It looks like maybe it's supposed to be bolted on, but one side of the hole just has a deformed...
