rebuilt engine blowing white smoke from breather tube

I only have an hour of running time under load at varying rpm’s but keeping it under 3/4 throttle. I really don’t have a way to put it under a heavy load, like bailing hay or plow a field, just running a mower. I was reading a discussion started by Anonymous-O back in 2012 with the exact same...

rebuilt engine blowing white smoke from breather tube

I looked at the knock-off injectors online and they were so ridiculously cheap that I didn’t trust them. So I took the original injectors to the Kubota dealer and he matched them up. Do you think injectors could cause this problem?

rebuilt engine blowing white smoke from breather tube

I just fired up a rebuilt Z600 and I have white smoke coming out of the valve cover breather tube. Is this normal during an initial start and perhaps will correct itself once the rings are seated? It's running well and exhaust is fine. Once it was up to operating temperature, I had it running...

    injector pump seal?

I checked the injector timing on my Kubota b4200 (z600 engine), which was fine, but.... on the front cylinder I could dry the inside of the injector pump fuel fitting and watch for fuel while I slowly turned the engine by hand. On the back cylinder, after I soaked up that residual fuel in the...

    Injection pump shim sealant?

Can someone tell me what kind of sealant is used for the shims on the injector pump. I'm reinstalling the original pump and shims and there seems to be a grey film between the shims, but I don't know what it is and the manual doesn't specify anything. Thanks! B4200 with a Z600.

    injector sealing washer for a B4200 z600

Can anyone tell me what copper washer I need to seal the fuel injectors to the head. I'm seeing many variations in thickness for Kubota from 1 mm to 1.95 mm. It seems to me that if I don't have the correct thickness, it will throw off the injection timing. I know there was a copper washer in the...
