Rebuilding My Tree Damaged Kubota BX24

Union Farm Equipment prices were on target with online retailers. They make their money on sales and servicing the equipment afterwards. The body parts I ordered would have cost me many hundreds to have shipped. You don't have to pay for shipping to a dealership.

Rebuilding My Tree Damaged Kubota BX24

Yes. I got most of my parts from Union Farm Equipment. They were great to work with so I didn't forget anything, and took care of parts that were damaged upon arrival for me.

I got mine from the dealer as well. Go on to and get the correct part number first. There are no guarantees that you are being told the right part and price. It was expensive and in the neighborhood of 500 I think. But that was the same price as if I had it shipped from an online retailer.

Kubota BX24 Front Differential Replacement Help Needed

I will check that out later and see if it matches up. I watched a video this morning, and it looked like it might be slightly different, but I'll look again

Kubota BX24 Front Differential Replacement Help Needed

So....my BX24 has been getting a lot of use, and has been a huge life saver. Anyway, the other day I heard some clinking happen a couple times while working in the woods. Being in the woods, I wasn't sure if it was something rattling, or coming from the front end. Turns out it was from the...

Need Kubota BX24 ball joint castle nut size??

Thanks. I also needed to be sure of the size to I could use the right die. Turned out to be M10 1.25. I only had M9 1.25. Oh well, bought the die at Napa and fixed the threads, installed, and tractor is back in action again!

Need Kubota BX24 ball joint castle nut size??

Did some grading and stump digging, and the ball joints finally went. Well, more specifically, the cotter pin and castle nut went missing on one side. I have two new ball joints on order, but there is a delay of course. The current ball joint is still functional, but I am having a hard time...

    On Line Kubota Parts

I found that my dealer had the same prices as the online stores, but there was no shipping. For me this amounted to about $500 or more in savings because I was getting body parts. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Rebuilding My Tree Damaged Kubota BX24

Little bit of an update. Finally moved into our new home this past winter. Tractor was great for digging stumps, clearing debris, and leveling. I'm pretty much finding any way to use it around the house. I wonder if I can use it to bring all the groceries in from the car in one trip! I...

Side by Side plow on a BX24?

Also, this is the plow I got. Just about 6ft. All that I have is in the photos. I can do basic welding and cutting to make something out of scrap metal hopefully. Hoping someone chimes in with their diy setup. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Side by Side plow on a BX24?

Thanks. I like any setup that works honestly. I was avoiding buying anything to make this work, as it was a freebie. Something tells me I'll be working on this through the winter and will get to use it next season. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Side by Side plow on a BX24?

I was given a 6ft plow from a side by side. The previous owner had rigged it to work on whatever he had it on(I can't remember). I want to attach it in place of the bucket, use the arms and center ram for adjustment I think. I figure I can move dirt a little or gravel when needed in warmer...

Rebuilding My Tree Damaged Kubota BX24

Thanks for the compliment. The only reason I got both front end and the back home is because it needed a lot of repair, and thus I was able to get it much cheaper. In better condition, we both know the machine would have cost more than twice the price. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Sorry about the delayed response. I have been doing a lot to help get out house finished and haven't had the time to check back in. I simply ordered what showed up as a part number for my machine, and a metal one is what showed up at the dealer. In reading, it seems that they went to metal...

    How much does a BX23s weigh ?

Also keep in mind the figures you are reading are the "dry" weights. That means no oil, fuel, coolant, hydrolic fluid, etc. mI was told by the dealer to go with a 4-6K lb rates trailer to tow my BX24 with both the backhoe and front bucket. You need to figure in for those extras. I added thr...

Rebuilding My Tree Damaged Kubota BX24

My thoughts exactly. I'm thinking it will be nice to have during nighttime snow removal. Headlights are very effective when the bucket is blocking then with a load of snow. Sent from my SM-G930R4 using Tapatalk

Rebuilding My Tree Damaged Kubota BX24

Tonight my motivation to replace the backhoe hydrolic line...well...just wasnt there. Decided to finish wiring up the LED light bar. Because I couldn't find my fish tape, I just kept the lines on the outside of the ROPS in some of that fancy woven finger trap type wire loom. The switch is a...
