FEL 3rd function, top n tilt

Hoses for the top and side link cylinders, since these are restricted anyway is there any reason to not use 1/4 hoses? or an advantage to larger hoses? Not really concerned about price, just thinking the smaller will be more flexible for routing.

    Third function on L5740 HSTC

Look up a manual for your loader it should show which port is the power beyond and tank ports.

FEL 3rd function, top n tilt

So I settled with the one from WR Long and I bought it from Everything attachments, I had to call them though because it is not listed by itself. It was a hundred and change for just the handle and switch, no wire. For my loader joystick i didn't care for the style Brian has and I figured by...

FEL 3rd function, top n tilt

I checked with kubota as I liked it the best and theirs was $400 something so that was a no go. They only one they had available was the landpride dome looking one with the buttons on the side that look like they would to easily be activated accidentally.

FEL 3rd function, top n tilt

Ya, I preferred Brian's recommendation of running the 3rd function off the rear remote, although more hose, it will be a much cleaner install and more useable as an auxilary for an implement.

FEL 3rd function, top n tilt

Ya, I just came across your set up the night before last, looks nice. But the 3130 has a floor board for lack of a better word, from the back of the seat/toolbox all the way down to your feet, so it's not open like yours. I started to and really wanted to do it under the floor board and have it...

FEL 3rd function, top n tilt

Although I am contemplating turning them upright and putting the qd's directly to the valve to avoid doing all the little short hoses to get to the qd's. But I need to find out if there are some kind of offsets I can put on the ports as they are to close together for the quick disconnects.

FEL 3rd function, top n tilt

Thanks Dan, That's a good idea the pics I had seen of the T down on the block that was my first thought of it getting hit or something hung on it, as I have done a lot of stuff in the woods with it. it's a little tighter up at the fel controls but I can probably do it fine. I'm using bucher...

With that said I am hoping someone can confirm my plumbing on this. Thanks

FEL 3rd function, top n tilt

I hate to read threads that don't follow thru so here is the follow up. Thru conversation with Brian at FitRite he recommended doing 3 rear remotes, one electric for the grapple, which could be disconnected if needed to use in the rear for an implement. A floating valve for the top cylinder and...

FEL 3rd function, top n tilt

I want it all. LOL edited first post to be a little less confusing, hopefully) I don't want to short change myself on any of it. But I don't want to just blow money.

FEL 3rd function, top n tilt

I have an 2003 L3130 HST. I want to make a grapple for the bucket and pallet forks, also want top n tilt, and also have auxiliary for 3pt attachment if I ever need one such as back hoe attachment. Does doing any one of these make it easier to do it all while doing it? In other words I don't...

    HST Whine.....Gone.......!

If the whine was twice as bad I would still take it over having to clutch and shift gears again. I don't like to say never, but I will not likely ever have a non HST tractor!

    chain storage tube

Thanks, but not my idea, I'm pretty sure I saw it here. However the two small ones I did heat the pipe up and expand it to maximize the space, not much difference I imagine, but did it cuz I could suppose.

Piranha tooth bar vs. Palm tree

Ya the oaks don't cut that easily except for maybe upto 3" dia. Depending on the pine probably 4" or so. But the bar usually grabs these and pulls them up by the roots. The palm root ball is just that kind of a ball and not real big. Sometimes they push over real easy and sometimes they don't...

    Tapping into the fuse box?

I realize this is done already so this is for the next person looking for the same. I used one of the blank spots in the factory fuse box, which was void a terminal, I was able to pick up a package of misc. terminals at autozone that had a terminal that worked not the exact replacement but it...

Piranha tooth bar vs. Palm tree

I've had the bar on for several months now but hav'nt had time to do any work. Well over the past couple weekends I got some stuff done! Real happy with this Piranha. My intention was to push it over, and was rather surprised when it cut it clean in to, did it a few more times just for the fun...

    New owner rotary tiller question

Often you will hit something or raise it up and it will go to vibrating, just drop it back down and it will balance back out. Mine is a heavy duty one and I run it real hard.
