    L245DT Starting and running

I pulled and disassembled all the injectors. Cleaned them so they looked like new. Than One at a time I fasted each injector to the injector pump and turned the engine over holding a piece of cardboard below the outlet so that I could see the spray pattern when the injector pulsed. When I did...

    Pretty discouraged please suggest something.

I even disconnected the air intake hose from the intake manifold to make certain that it was getting air. Also using a misting type spray bottle I squirted fuel into the intake manifold (small amount) to see if that would help and it did not help.

    starting problem L245DT

I loosened the 17mm at the top of each injector and turned the engine over long enough to feel certain that the air in the lines is gone. That would make me think that the pump is working correctly. If any of these fuel lines was only displaying a dribble during the above test I would consider...

    starting problem L245DT

Thanks for the reply Wolfman, I'm still stumped. After making certain that I had all the air out I started the tractor, it barely runs and doesn't want to accelerate when I throttle it up. Sounds like it is running on two cylinders. So I pulled all of the injectors and cleaned them with solvent...

    starting problem L245DT

I changed the fuel filter on my L245DT and she won't start. I always make certain that the tractor has warmed up to operating temp before I begin the process. I pre fill the new filter ,remove the old and immediately install the new filter. After a failed attempt at starting I bleed all of the...

    FEL lift cylinder replacement

I recently had one of the lift cylinders blow a seal. It also scored the shaft almost the entire length. One repair shop quoted me $360 for a new shaft plus the rebuild kit and labor. I wouldn't do just the one side. Anyway I have searched for replacement cylinders that would fit my machine and...

The shaft on my cylinder has a deep gouge almost the entire length, so a rebuild kit is out of the question. I have spoken with a shop that rebuilds cylinders and that fella quoted me $ 360 just for the replacement shaft plus what ever the cost of a kit and his labor. He also said that...

    hydraulic cylinders

Anyone know of a source for replacement cylinders other than original equipment. I have been told that Kubota cylinders are all by themselves. L245DT Front End Loader need cylinder

That is correct, it was a lift cylinder. My shaft is damaged also so I think at the least it would need to have a new shaft. Where did you get this repair or did you re-seal it yourself and install the new shaft ? Plus I'm thinking that I should rebuild the other side at the same time !

I posted the other day that I needed to rebuild a lift cylinder on my tractor, well I took the cylinder apart today and the shaft has a deep groove almost the entire length. Blown Seal on FEL

Can anyone tell me the name or names of some sources for rebuild kits for the older Kubota FEL's ? Popped the seal on one of my lift cylinders. Removed the cylinder and found some numbers stamped into it which may help getting the correct parts. I took the cylinder to a local shop that repairs...

    Homemade Backhoe Bucket

Wish I had a plasma cutter it would have been a lot easier. The company that I purchased the steel from sheared everything to the correct width so I needed to cut the lengths. The profile of the sides were cut with a sawsall. After welding the heel or back of the bucket in place I started with...

    Homemade Backhoe Bucket

85 Hokie , I have looked for a decent set that were priced right but they would cost me as much or more than what I have invested in the bucket! I have some small pieces of 1/2 in left from the fab job that I am thinking about welding on to the cutting edge. For what I will most likely be using...
