Loader arms faded...will warranty cover this?

Absolutely. When you go to trade in a tractor, the dealer mentions the faded paint and wants to give you less. But when you buy a new one that's been on the lot for a year and you ask for a discount because of the fade, they laugh and say "they're all like that."

Loader arms faded...will warranty cover this?

Thanks for the info / advice everyone. Sorry if I was being testy. Sorry to hear about Henro's dipperstick problem. The paint on this tractor's bucket is also fine...its just the loader arms. Made me think the paint was somehow defective or poor quality...you know, defective in materials or...

Loader arms faded...will warranty cover this?

First off, I wasn't asking about insurance. I was asking about warranty. Secondly, I'm not trying to cover anything up. I have nothing to hide - the machine has been outside on job sites for most of its time since new. I think my question is valid. I couldn't care less if a guy is laughing...

Loader arms faded...will warranty cover this?

I have a 2022 model year MX6000 cab tractor with the LA1065 loader which I bought new. In fairness, it has been outside most of its life, stored inside only a few months since I got it. The orange paint on the loader arms has faded quite a bit. The hood and body panels have not. Will Kubota...

Kubota Grand L 60 series seat bottoms out

I used this guy to make me a heavier spring for my snowmobile. He said he might be able to do the tractor to:

Kubota Grand L 60 series seat bottoms out

There are companies that custom make springs. If you measured the dimensions of the existing springs, a company could build you custom ones with a higher spring rate designed specifically for your body weight to prevent the seat from collapsing down.

What model Kubota Tractor do you own?

2022 MX6000 HSTC for me as of right now. Many others in the past.

    Lift cap question

Quality pallet forks have significant weight - like usually around 300lbs. Of course, the bucket does too. People forget the weight of these loader attachments has to come out of the total lift capacity.

    Anyone Own A L6060 ?

I'd consider the MX6000 in addition to the L6060. They have the same engine. The MX has a slightly heavier duty front axle and nicer (wider / taller) front tires. The L60 has a nicer 3-point hitch and more 'luxury' features in the cab, although the physical cabs themselves are the same. The MX...

    L3560 issue

Being an L60 series tractor, it should have auto-throttle, where the HST pedal can be linked to the throttle. I wonder if there is an issue with the electronics. I would start by trying to shut off the Auto Throttle feature if it is on; or turn on Auto Throttle if it is not and see if it makes...

    MX6000 cab tractor lightning upgrades

They look good and are nice and bright, easy install. Not a game changer for night time mowing in a field, but certainly an improvement. The white light is nice and sharp. No radio interference.

    MX6000 cab tractor lightning upgrades

I just got the Tiger Lights which replace the factory work lights on the cab. I will install them today and use them tonight. They definitely look just like the original units, but seem to be made very well - they are heavy - and come in very nice packaging. Quite costly, but made specifically...

    MX6000 cab tractor lightning upgrades

I used to be a big fan of Land Rovers before they became purely yuppie-mobiles. I recalled they put a large flat black decal on the hood to cut down on the glare from the roof lights. I wonder if I could have a shop cut me a piece of flat black vinyl to stick down to the top of the hood. Might...

    MX6000 cab tractor lightning upgrades

Lol, Chim...that's my thread from last year. I never resolved the lighting situation from last year, and this year its biting me in the behind. I mowed for two hours after dark last night and got terrible eye strain and a little bit of dizziness trying to see. Keep in mind I'm flail-mowing a...

    MX6000 cab tractor lightning upgrades

I'll let you know how it goes. I didn't want the no-name Chinese varieties from Amazon that likely will fail quickly. These were $90.

    MX6000 cab tractor lightning upgrades

I also noticed the H4 bulbs have the same connectors. With halogen H4's, there's probably a chance of melting the reflector housing / lens and / or the wiring because of the higher wattage. With LED's, probably not. I ordered a pair of Sylvania H4 LEDs, with the heatsink and fan and remote wire...

    MX6000 cab tractor lightning upgrades

With the days getting shorter and shorter, I need to keep using my machine in the evenings. The factory lighting on the MX is quite weak. I have the front and rear factory work lights. They basically help light up the immediate area around the perimeter of the tractor but have no reach...

    '16 MX5200 TURBO BOOST RPM

The turbos are pretty tiny and probably don't add a lot of pressure to the manifold. You could probably install a manual boost gauge if you wanted to. A modern pickup truck diesel (Ford 6.7, RAM / Cummins 6.7, GM 6.6 Duramax) can produce around 30psi of manifold pressure on top of atmospheric...

    Changing to 4 wheel drive

I have an MX6000 as well, and 4x4 is not hard to engage at all. Its getting back into 2WD that is more difficult. You can't have a load on the tractor (needs to sit pretty flat) and then turn the wheel all the way to the left or right. For me, the left works better. Make your shift out of 4x4...

    Hot engine

The plugging of radiators and their screens in a never-ending problem. The bigger equipment has fans that can reverse themselves automatically and blow out the coolers. Sub-100HP tractors don't have that. I'm no fan of battery powered equipment, for the most part, but I bought the milwaukee m18...
