    Clicking/Popping sound

I'm having a bit of trouble getting the outer cover back on the outer drive housing. Whenever I tighten the bolts on it, I can no longer turn the wheel axle by hand. I have no problem up until I tighten any one (or all) of the bolts. I was careful to mount the outer cover so that it was...

    Clicking/Popping sound

So I put the whole tractor up on blocks last night (I should have done this first but was not thinking straight). I couldn't hear the noise anymore. I'm thinking of putting the wheel, etc back together and seeing if I can isolate the noise. Maybe something my first diagnosis was incorrect...

    Clicking/Popping sound

It still clicks. I'm having a hell of a time getting that bolt out :-p Trying to get someone with an acetylene torch to heat it up for me. If I can't I guess I'll have to cut it and retap the hole after I'm done working on it. Even with all the rain we've been having, I still don't have...

    Clicking/Popping sound

Thanks, I'll post some pics. I'm having trouble getting the bolt off the gear case (so I can remove the king pin) This is a bit beyond what I have done before so forgive me if I'm using the wrong terminology. I'll get some better penetrating oil and a new torch on my way home from work today...

    Clicking/Popping sound

On my B7001 I hear a clicking (or popping) sound near the right front. As far as I can tell it is either underneath or at the front tire. It seems to be louder at higher speeds. It didn't seem to change if I was in 4 wheel drive or not. I didnt' even hear it until my wife told me after I...

    Rear Tires B7001

I can't remember if the rears are different. I know the fronts are (and hard to find) so it only make sense the rears are too. I got my front tires from ME Miller Tire. www.millertire.com Since the rears are more expensive, it might make sense to buy 4 new tires. Just make sure your ratios...

Did you check out this page: http://www.orangetractortalks.com/2008/11/how-to-bleed-kubota-fuelinjector-lines/ I know last time I had to bleed the lines, it took a couple of tries to get all the air out.

    Replace 1 front Tire

Thanks everyone. The 7001 I have is a 4x4 and I was thinking the same thing as hodge. The tire that needs replacing has lots of side wall damage. I think I'll buy 2 tires if I can get them. I guess I'll have a spare should I ever need it.

    Replace 1 front Tire

I have a b7001 with one front tire that is in pretty rough shape but the other is in good shape. Is it ok to just replace 1 front tire or should I replace both so the wear on them is the same? Since I won't be able to find the original bridgestones that are on it today, I'll be replacing it...

looking to buy the whole 3pt hitch assembly for a b7100

That's the one I bought. The fixed lift arm was welded at the wrong angle but other than that, its been good. I also needed to buy two extra spacers or my b7001. Let me know if you want some more info or search for my thread on this subject ( from the spring)

    B7001 3pt hitch problem

Thanks Vic, It definitely looks like the leveling arm in this picture (picture 1) is at an angle. I think I'll need to get it re-welded once I figure out what angle it should be. Can you explain what you mean by: "You may need to grind away a bit of the tractors factory lift arm on the rock...

Hi Stuart. Any luck having a look at the back of your tractor to see if there is a 20deg bend on the fixed link?

    B7001 3pt hitch problem

I think I may see the problem. Stuart, is your levelling arm straight or is it at an angle? From your gallery it looks like there is an angle but mine is straight.

    B7001 3pt hitch problem

Thanks Guys. HickoryNut - that was how I tried it originally but I can't get the non-adjustable leveling arm to fit on the lift arm. Stuart - if you find that diagram please send it on. If you take a look at the pictures, you can see the the leveling arm is 'straight' so when I try to attach...

    B7001 3pt hitch problem

Hi, I just got my aftermarket 3-pt hitch and I'm thinking I might have gotten the wrong one :-( As far as I can see, there is now (proper) way I can attach this to my B7001. If you look at this picture, I would think that the non-adjustable leveling arm (is this what it is called?) should be...
