    B6000 overheating cured

Intrigued. Do you have any photos so I can visualize this a little better? Curious where you placed the tank - there's not much room on these things... -Evan

    Drain Fuel from B7100?

Kick myself for this, but a combination of life and finances means I haven't had the opportunity to wrench on or tend to the B7100 in about a year. Haven't fired it up in that time, either. That said, I'm now working to get it up and online again. Obviously, fluid changes are good (and I'd like...

    Servicing a B7100 w/ B219 Front End Loader

Talk about timing...you posted a day after I cut those chains off. No master links on either one. Oh well. I shall rebuild or replace 'em. But lesson learned about sliding the pump off. Spent the evening trying to hunt down that seal kit. No kidding about lack of service/ support information...

    Servicing a B7100 w/ B219 Front End Loader

Well, guys, I've looked over both chains seven ways to Sunday; can't seem to find a master link on EITHER chain. I've no qualms with replacing them with new chains (this time WITH master links) because of their age, but just curious as to what's my best approach for removal. Chain breaker...

    Servicing a B7100 w/ B219 Front End Loader

Thanks, guys. Sorry for radio silence -- in the process of changing workplaces, so I've sadly been away from the site and my little 7100 for a week or so. I'll soak the chains in PB Blaster and try to find the links. Almost wondering if it might be a good idea to just replace 'em since they do...

    Servicing a B7100 w/ B219 Front End Loader

Thanks. As for the chains -- yep, they're rusty -- at least the one closest to the engine is; still futzing with trying to get access to the other set. Do these have master links at all or do I need to pick up a chain breaker?

    Servicing a B7100 w/ B219 Front End Loader

I'm just getting started on tackling issues on my new-to-me B7100D, which is fitted with the (ARPS) B219 loader. I know some of you out here (Big Kahuna, for one) have gone through full-blown restos of the loader, so I hope you can help answer my questions... 1. First, I direly need to replace...

Shop and Owner's PDF 7100.....Pass Along To Others Thread

Since I have a vested interest in the B6000/5100/6100/7100 models, I threw up some of these manuals here: http://bit.ly/NHfqa6 I also just picked up a B5100/6100/7100 "Technical Manual" that I might work on digitizing. It seems to be an intermediate step between a WSM and the original owner's...

Shop and Owner's PDF 7100.....Pass Along To Others Thread

I'd be glad to pay the karma forward and help with this. I might even be able to set up a Dropbox folder or some semi-public means to provide those four documents without resorting to email... -Evan

    B7001 Hour Meter Installation

Hi guys, Have to ask a question about all this. Got my parts in order for this and pulled the dash as best I could (couldn't get the decomp cable off without removing from the engine, which I might end up doing anyways just to lube it). In any case, I have the old hour meter out and I'm ready...

    Tipping trailer use

Found a diverter valve off a '7100 being parted out on eBay. Rob, you said you've swapped these before -- is there any need to drain/ bleed/ etc. fluid before swapping valves out? Any gasket I need as well? Appreciate your help!

    B7001 Hour Meter Installation

Interested in this project as I have the Kubota tach/hour meter and associated parts on their way to my home as we speak. Hoping I can just tackle this by pulling the dash, but if I do need to move the fuel tank somewhat, can I do so without draining it and disconnecting any lines? If not, I'll...

    Tipping trailer use

Just finally found it. Eeep. $595. Don't have a need for it that badly yet...guess I'll keep my eyes peeled for one being parted out or something. -Evan

    Tipping trailer use

Now that's cool. My '79 B7100 doesn't have it but I wish it did. Do you know what the part number is for that? I'd love to add it if it's as simple as you say...

    B7100 PTO Shifter -- Won't Go Into 1st?

Mine has neutrals between PTO speeds 2 and 3 as well. And yes, tractor wasn't running. I'll fire it up tomorrow (didn't have time today) and see what it does. Hope your suspicion is correct!

    B7100 PTO Shifter -- Won't Go Into 1st?

I've not yet had occasion to play with the PTO on my B7100, but while in the garage yesterday, tried shifting the PTO lever into first (speed 1) while clutching in. No dice. Clutching in and shifting forward, I can shift into 2nd, Neutral(again), and 3rd, but it feels as if there's something...
