I couldn't figure out the K mode switch either. Pulled hair out for awhile and took all three sensors off checked and put back on and now everything seems to work!? Ghost in the machine? Not sure but I'm keeping a close eye on it for awhile.

I know the error code and replaced the swash plate sensor. The image is the tech manual.

I have to bump this. I can't believe nobody knows what to do?

SICK L4240 :( error code 82 HST NG ?????? help!!!! Hello orange tractor lovers I'm in need of some help. We've got a '09 4240 with around 350 hours on. The other day while using a box scraper with the engine hot the dash starts kicking this error out. (82) and the hst pedal stops working...

Hey guys I need to get some remotes on my new beast. So scouring eBay I saw a L8307 hydraulic control valve kit. Any idea if it could fit on a '07 L4240. Thanks for the help.

Now its on to extras. Looking for the info on rear remotes for a log splitter and I have to turn the FEL into ssqa. By the wya, damn does this machine turn a brush hog. Sucks to be the small trees I cleared out of our hunting path today :cool:
