    Tachometer not working

The tach drive does not get oil from the engine. I would lube the drive with motor oil while the cable is removed. No lube in the drive is why they fail, in my openion.

    Tractor model info???

I am new to Kubota and this forum. I like to brows the different problems in case I run into them in the future. Is there a resource that details all the different models, type, size, HP, engine model? I have a B8200d with D950 engine and am curious what models are similar. I don't even know...

    Tachometer not working

Easy on some but on B8200, the radiator had to come out first. Lower cooling hose had brackets attached to the studs that hold the drive on. Part $61.00 in CA last week.

    B8200D hydraulic pressure loss

When I turn the diverter valve to the roll pin, it works the loader ok when oil is cool. When the oil gets hot pressure goes so low the loader is almost unuseable. I got a 3000psi gauge and found the pump was putting out 2300 psi. Then went down stream of the diverter and only found 900 psi. 0...

    B8200D hydraulic pressure loss

My B8200 has a flow divider. There is a knob that my repair manual says should screw all the way in to get pressure. Mine has a roll pin on the knob and 2 roll pins on the valve. Turn knob ccw and press goes to 0. Turn CW till pin on knob hits roll pin on body and you get pressure. I removed the...

    UDT or Gear Oil

21st century 80/90 would be a synthetic like Ansoil syn 80/90. Had a specialty gear shop and tried to use Amsoil 80/90. Great flow characturistics but it would leak out of the 20th century seals and disappear. my B8200D specs. 80/90

    hour meter drive assy??

I have a b8200d with a D950 engine. My tachometer/ hour meter stopped working. Drive assy went bad. The drive assy has a seal that keeps engine oil from lubing the bevel gears. Bevel gears must be lubed therefore the assy died of old age and No lubrication. new assy $61.00 + labor. My...

Hydraulic pressure low when oil is hot, B8200

It has a steel suction line, but that is a great reminder. I had a steel reinforced rubber suction line that the inner liner came loose and sucked closed on occasion. Operate it next time and everything was good. Drove me nuts before I found it. I am going to drain the oil and look at the...

Hydraulic pressure low when oil is hot, B8200

I used Tractor Hydraulic fluid which is pretty much universal brake, clutch and hyd fluid. 500 hrs on machine. The pressure is so low that it will barely lift the bucket. I will plug in to a QD and ck press. DAA! I was over thinking the procedure. I have a shop manual with the specs.

Hydraulic pressure low when oil is hot, B8200

When I work my tractor hard the hyd pressure drops. Start next day when cool, everything seems ok. Is there a tap point to check pressure? My manual shows hooking up a pressure gauge with a bypass directly to the main pump. Seems like a relief valve problem to me.
