How much time to Brushhog 10 acres?

Sounds like a fun day. In really thick stuff(chest to head-high), I get about 1.1 acres /hr ... which can almost be doubled if it's low and smooth. I do a lot of good thinking while on the tractor.

    L2850DT - temperature gauge reading

I also posted this over on tractorbynet ... sorry if you're on both and read this twice :-) Where dos your temp gauge read when mowing? I run a 5' L&S Line bush hog with my L2850 ... which I think is sized about right for the equipment. I was a little surprised when the temp guage climbed to a...

Hodge, I saw your post about a friend in Haiti with a diesel Land Cruiser. Very nice! I have a '75 FJ40 ... which is bulletproof in it's own right - for a gas burner. I recently got a 1986 Kubota L2850DT (34hp/27hp/23hp engine/pto/drawbar) ... and saw that you made telescoping links for it...

    L2850 drawbar

Stumpy -- I just bought a 1986 L2850DT(small world!) ... also w/o the drawbar. Did you wind up making one ... or finding one new. I'll be searching soon // just haven't gotten enough bush-hogging done to take it off and check things out yet. Thanks much, JT

    Howdy - "New" L2850DT owner

Thanks Bluegill! If there's a fluid in the tractor, it's been changed (along with any associated filters). Hopefully I'll run across a good used box scrape pretty soon. JT

    Howdy - "New" L2850DT owner

Howdy all, I just purchased (last week) a 1986 L2850DT with 595 hours. I'm the 3rd owner, and it looks like it was very well cared for. The last owner had taken it for a full service at the Kubota dealer (All fluids and filters ... provided the receipt) ... and also had to the steering pump...
