I have always used Power Service white in my Cummins Dodge for the last 21 years summer and winter with no problems.

I used Opti-Lube XPD in my diesel Jetta TDI for 6 years started when I purchased the Jetta. Never any problems in winter or summer I was concerned about the HPFP some people were having issues with. Now that I have sold the TDI and gone to a Jetta 1.8T I'll use the XPD in the fuel for my B6000...

Have the battery checked for a short that only happens once the battery is warmed up. Happened to my dad with a pickup truck he had in the late 70's. Had about the same symptons.

You might have the battery checked for a short. My dad had a chevy truck that would do the same thing. It turned out it was the battery when it was hot it wouldn't provide any power once it cooled down it would work fine. Just a thought.

I use Stihl. Cousin uses Echo both are good. I prefer the Stihl myself.
