Mowed frickin' grass. I hate mowing frickin' grass.....probably because I grew up mowing frickin' 2 acres of grass and I'm damn near 72 now. It's boring.

I mow about 9-10 acres from about mid May to the end of September. I used to hate it but now I enjoy the quiet time.

Upload audio books to your phone, & get some Bluetooth headphones. Sync it up and drift into another world...

The tractor knows the drill, you just correct it's mistakes and get a good read. LOL It can be the most peace I get from the rest of life. And I sometimes learn something.

Well I tried to dig up that big stump today. I know it's too big for the tractor and I certainly don't want to damage it. I just took it easy and did what I could do. I removed enough dirt around the stump with the bucket to expose roots and I cut them as went along but to no avail.

The stump remains. I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I'm completely worn out so It's gonna have to be for until all the blisters heal up haha.

My only option is to continue to dig down and around it and create a huge crater. My neighbor has a Kubota with a backhoe maybe that would be better but I'm not sure. Need a big excavator lol. Don't have the money for that. It might just have to keep working at it here and there, eventually I'll get it out.

That's a big stump for a only a FEL! An excavator is certainly the right tool for the job. But I have been impressed with the stumps I have removed with my B2620 with BH65 and some patience.

One thing I have for sure learned... don't cut the stump down so close to the ground. I leave mine 5-7ft tall so that leverage can be my friend. With a backhoe, dig a circumferential trench around tree that is at least 2x as deep as trunk is around. Make sure you destroy as many of the roots as you can in this trench. Then most of the time and can use the FEL to push over the stump by pushing at head height. It might take some persistence and coming at it from various sides. It might even require a 2:1 or 3:1 cable setup and some tugging, but it works.

Even if I left several feet, I don't think it would budge haha. I need to rent a stump grinder to get rid of a huge spruce stump so I might just back fill it and grind it up instead.

Height fir leverage is a good thing; however, three wraps of det cord works really well too.

Thou shalt not underestimate the power of leverage.

Or as Archimedes said: "Give me the place to stand, and I shall move the earth."
I understand leverage but this isn't a little stump with a small root ball.

My original plan was to cut it lower and flat and grind it with the stump grinder. I thought it would be fun to try to get it out myself but I underestimated it hahaha.

With the right leverage you get any amount of force. I would try putting a tree trunk in front of it as a pivot and use a steel girder as a lever under the stump (you did a great job already digging everything out under it). Then push the lever down with the FEL.

Or you simply use 10kg of dynamite. Gives you a nice pond for ducks too :ROFLMAO:

I just noticed this today. Looks like the beet juice leaking out around the bead. It's not a lot, same thing on the right wheel too. I didn't notice this during winter but then again it was cold and today is mid 80s. I did use it in the rain the other day and perhaps it's just a bit of water but I wiped my finger on a spot and it's a little bit purple.

The tire pressures seem to be normal. It's around 13.5 psi which is what the manual says. Maybe it should be more?

Keep hacking away with a sawzall and 12” pruning blade as you expose the roots. I also use 2 three ton floor jacks on one side to “pry” on one side…then the other. You cannot let that weenie little stump kick your ass OP…we are rooting for you.💣

Yes, you will need to increase pressure.
